Melissa Jones Colbert

I graduated from Motlow in 1998 with my Associates Degree and transferred to MTSU where I began my major in Criminal Justice. I moved to Michigan and went to Michigan State University for several semesters until I moved back to Tennessee and finally finished my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2006. I work full time in the Circuit Court Clerk's office as a deputy clerk and the book keeper. I have the privilege of working with Kristy (Russell) Towry who keeps my days bright and makes me laugh! And my good neighbor until recently was Amy (Spray) Giffin...who I love and adore! I miss walking the halls at the high school with all my friends and feel so weird to have one of my children that just graduated and one that is a Junior this year and of course I have the mini me...MaryBeth who is 12 going on 18!! hahahaa I have 2 step children and the oldest one is 23 and she just had her first baby...which makes me a "Mimi"! My stepson is a sophmore. I, like many others, have had a lot happen to me since we graduated, but it was worth it all to have been blessed with my husband...he is the true LOVE of my life! We were married in March 2005 and then married again this past May in the Catholic Church.
